If you like authentic, TRULY authentic Mexican/Latino food, try out Cancun or Acapulco. We do prefer Acapulco in Lawrence for that reason. You can tell the places are owned by the same family, the food is the same great quality.

I had the seafood combo and it was too heavy with cilantro and lime. We got back, they fired up our food and had it out to us super fast! The only reason I gave four stars is because they need to go a little lighter on their lime and cilantro. Instead of getting upset, they said they would "hold" our order until we got back. We would order our food, we let the waitress know my husband was on call. My husband was on Paw Paw Quick Response (medical first responders). We used to live in Paw Paw and were regulars here. Definitely authentic Mexican/Latino food.
